How long will it take for my child to learn a foreign language?

The first aspect to consider is that every child is different and s/he learns at a different rate. Most children react very quickly to various requests during our foreign language programs. Within the first four weeks, most children feel comfortable enough to react spontaneously to our activities and through body language they start to show comprehension of the foreign language and its demands.

On average, after five to six months, most children show much understanding of the foreign language and many are also able to express themselves in the foreign language. In our experience, after two years of being exposed to our foreign language programs, children could start to show spontaneous speech and mayor comprehension of the foreign language. The earlier children are exposed to foreign language the easier it is for them to learn.
